I am writing this on behalf of my wonderful landlord of the last 6 years. We live in a lovely village called Bechhofen (66894). It is an 18 minute drive to both Ramstein and Landstuhl. The village has a bakery, butcher, hair dresser, grocery market, bank, playgrounds, and more. There are beautiful forests and hiking trails surrounding it, and plenty of walking/biking trails as well. Bechhofen has Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and other celebrations throughout the year. Our home has 6 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 3 downstairs. There are 2 large storage rooms to utilize as well. 2 full bathrooms, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. The large yard is fully fenced in, front and back. There is a beautiful white fireplace in the main living space that is perfect on the cold German days. The backyard features a permanent playground (slide and swings) and firewood storage. There are 2 garages, both open with remotes. The home ALWAYS has the best natural light with big windows. The kitchen, backdoor, porch door, and master bedroom have automatic rolladens. Our landlord has been absolutely wonderful. He speaks perfect English and is quick to respond and is very fair and open. We have had no complaints in the last 6 years, and we are sad to say goodbye.
